ELKINS – One person is behind bars and another is free on bail after two drug busts in the city.

One bust was at a home, while the other happened during a traffic stop. The busts came just hours apart Tuesday night.

Officers collected cocaine, crack, hundreds of pills, pill bottles, $11,000 and a small caliber pistol at Christine White’s home, State Police said.

White was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute. She is currently in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.

Trooper First Class C.A. Blevins said it is not unusual to find large amounts of cash in busts like these.

Because a gun was confiscated, White could be facing additional federal charges.

Just hours before that bust, troopers on a routine traffic stop said they found four pounds of marijuana in a car that belongs to Daniel Corica.

Blevins said two big busts in one night will make a big dent in the drug problem in Randolph County.

Corica is free on bail. White is still in jail. Her bond was set at $100,000.
