During a routine traffic stop, state troopers seized about 8 kilos of cocaine, with an estimated street value of 800-thousand dollars.
Troopers stopped an SUV just south of Montgomery on Tuesday, after clocking the vehicle going 70 in a 55 mile per hour zone. A drug detection dog found the stash hidden in a utility trailer the SUV was towing.
Two Texas residents are under arrest for trafficking cocaine, a 17-year-old was placed in the custody of federal authorities.
