Record meth bust in Gardnerville reported worth $400k MINDEN, Nev. (AP) - A record methamphetamine bust in Gardnerville has officials both pleased and concerned.

Pleased because they seized nine pounds of methamphetamine worth an estimated $400,000, but concerned because meth arrests and seizures had been declining in Douglas County before Saturday night’s record bust.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Street Enforcement Team, working in conjunction with the Tri-Net Task Force, ended a month-long investigation at a Gardnerville car wash.

Valdene Elaine Roberts, 57, of Gardnerville, Nayo Orozco-Ortiz, 28, of Carson City and Crispin Pacheco, 35, of Carson City, were arrested after investigators received several tips about an incoming shipment of methamphetamine.
