A massive federal drug investigation called “Operation White Wolf” is aimed at stopping the distribution of cocaine into Idaho and Washington.

The DEA says they are currently looking into the distribution of illegal drugs from California and Arizona into Washington and Idaho.

Yesterday, the DEA along with several federal and state agencies executed a number of search warrants in Boise and Nampa. Meanwhile the DEA says they are still investigating the distribution of drugs into the Idaho Falls area.

This is video taken by our sister station in Boise - KTVB. They are reporting that several federal agencies along with investigators from the Boise Police Department, the Nampa Police Department, the City-County Narcotics Unit and Idaho State Police executed ten state and federal search warrants on homes in the Treasure Valley.

Those searches were the culmination on an investigation into the distribution of cocaine from California and Arizona to dealers in Canyon County, Ada County and Idaho Falls.

However, the DEA would not comment on the Idaho Falls investigation because that investigation is still on-going.

But in the Treasure Valley, purchases of up to half kilogram quantities of cocaine were made locally. Investigators purchased more than 11 pounds of cocaine with a street value of around $180,000.
